Expanded gallery update page

I've not updated to my RS gallery for a while, for just the reason you mentioned. It seems a bit pointless, when a refresh or two later, *POOF!* my 'long-awaited' update is old news.

Given this, and my tendency to 'lurk' and not post on forums, very few people even know I have a Rubberslug gallery at all. Which is too bad because I spent a fair amount of time, back in the day, making the format of the RS pages give me the appearance I was looking for. And I've gotten lots of new cels since I last updated here.

I think that Jason was trying with the feature banner to get around a bit of this problem (he's very far-sighted, I've noticed) from pretty much the beginning, but there are so many sites in the banner rotation that it takes a long time for a particular banner (or site) to come up now.

So, here's my humble suggestion: Maybe one of the Mods, who has the time (and inclination) could peruse the updates as they happen, and 'highlight' an outstanding update in some way (maybe make it 'sticky' for a few days?). Or perhaps 'feature' a particularly breathtaking gallery that hasn't been updated in a while for say a week? Three days? Something like that.

Just an idea to get around the 'now you see it, now you don't' update limbo. ^_^
