Plastic pockets for cel portfolios?

What brand, and what section of Michael's was it in?

It was in the art supplies section of Michaels, in the same aisle as art canvas boards.

The item is called the ITOYA Art Portfolio, storage/display book. The one I got was 11x17 and comes with dual-side sleeves. It states it is archival sage and acid free.

You can also find Itoya/Alvin brands in office supply places. Even Kinkos used to carry them (though I haven't been there in a long while).

I do love Itoya books, but since they're ~~*~ARTIST~*~~ supplies they're more expensive than they have to be. :P Poly sleeves and paper are ridiculously cheap and I doubt the plastic cover adds much to production cost. /gripe

Just thought I'd give a plug for my go to place:

I
believe all their Itoya folders are 50% off. US shipping only.

BTW, I use the Profolio Multi-Ring Binder. I love the flexibility it provides. You can move pages around within a binder or from binder to binder or pull a selection to bring to a con.

Good luck!

I really like the Itoya 11x17s so far. For the price (Paid $14), it's a good back-up cel folder. I moved some of my generic cels to it since it's a lot slimmer than the big zippered folders. I like that one of of the sleeves is sealed so cels don't slide out from either side.

If they had a version of it that had a closure would be even better, but I didn' see one that slim at Michael's for under $35 (plus those other ones that look like portfolios you had to buy the sleeves in addition).
