unusual search absence

Strangely, when I search for "Dororo" on Rubberslug, I only get my own gallery as a hit. But googling "dororo" and "cel", I get at least one other Rubberslug hit:

The other RS gallery is currently closed, which is why the search on RS doesn't register a hit. If you close your own gallery and do a search you'll find your cels and section titles do not come up as well.

Three things:
1) It's interesting that closing a gallery just shuts off the search and index functions from Rubberslug itself.
2) I've never understood why people close web pages because they're doing something else (other than suicides trying to erase themselves from the world, and as opposed to people trying to cover wrongdoing, etc.).
3) If you've closed your gallery, why would you post a note in the gallery saying "I've closed the gallery"?

I'm not sure what you mean. How would you be able to see the note in a closed gallery? ^_^

It's because you can't really "close" a Rubberslug gallery. The only option is to delist it. Even then, if people know your gallery's address, they can still visit it. If you wanted to keep your gallery web address and make it so people can't see your gallery, you'd have to have a lot more control over your website than RS gives. ^_^ In the case mentioned above, it looks more like the gallery owner wanted to let anyone who actively watches his gallery to know that he'll be ignoring it indefinitely, so don't expect any updates soon.
