Front-page Shop Items

Can I ask for some clarification, please?

I believed that I was doing the correct thing by asking for a new feature to be added to the site by posting a request/suggestion in the "Feature Suggestion" section of the forum.
Does this site not have enough active moderators to ensure that requests such as mine are read before they spiral into heated debates? In the future should I immediately e-mail a moderator before posting in the forum?

Jason: We personally liked Nene's suggestion of an 18+ thumbnail in place of the actual image, as it would allow items to be shown on the front page without causing any offense. It would also let everyone know that a new hentai item has been added. If we understand your proposal correctly, it would prevent hentai items from being on the front page at all. To us, that doesn't seem like a very good compromise. If, however, that is the only one you are considering, we would ask that you incorporate Beatrush's suggestion of making it optional, if at all possible. That way everyone would be able to choose their own preference.

Hi Jason,

Might I suggest again to create a separate category for hentai/adult material? Since when looking for cels in the "others" for sale section those images are pulled up with the rest. Some of the more popular anime are in the others category so they get lumped with hentai/adult material. It would probably help the hentai collectors too since they'd like the better exposure. I don't think this would be too much coding (if any at all) so it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'll just quote Gelato as it sums up my opinion on this subject^_^. I also think that if your gonna make it optional for viewing Jason, a new section should be made rather than placing them in the others category(and could you please create some new series so the others isn't so large).

I was gonna make a blog in regard to this subject until I saw that Jason replied to this thread. And like previously stated, I doubt anyone who replied in this topic were the culprits who sent matt the emails.

I like beatrush's idea, it seems pretty fair.
