what does copyright animation cel mean?
hey! is that a roundabout way to say fan cel, member animation cel or riezulu cel?? In all 3 yrs of collecting, I've never heard anything quite like it.
Everyday is another chance to learn something new, I'd like to think. ^_^V
It's usually a hanken, in my experience.

I should note that I'm not 100% positive that is what you are looking at, though.
(edit) And why is it that it wouldn't let me edit my previous post, but now I can edit either post? Hmmm...

It is also my understanding that when a cel is described as a copyright animation cel, the seller is saying it is a hanken cel. I'm pretty sure I know which cel you are referring to, Ginga. IMO, there are a few odd things about that cel. Someone asked in the Q&A tab if the lines were xeroxed and the seller confirms that they are. I can see why the person asked that question because the lines look a little rough for it being a hanken cel. I thought that hanken cels are always supposed to be hand-inked. Am I wrong in thinking that? Also, the colors on her outfit seem way off to me. The blue parts look more like the blue used for Sailormoon's outfit rather than Saturn's. Something just doesn't seem quite right with that cel. It would help to be able to find the product it was used on, but that may be nearly impossible with the thousands of SM products out there, lol.

maybe it is something strange all together. A hanken for knock off items? Have there ever been cels found for those items? LOL
