This is a perfect lead-in for my question that I'm not sure if I've ever asked:

Can anyone think of anything else that will increase interaction with visitors? The voting thing was sorta in that direction as it has encouraged people to look at sites that might not be directly in their line of interest.
Sorry about the problems getting this site through dialup. We should probably put some common sense caps on file sizes because it's really getting out of hand. I visit galleries sometimes that have 80-100k of banner images on their home page and I just scratch my head wondering if they've ever had a modem.
