How much do we see?

I was reading this thred and thought I could do more with my about page. I posted a some pics from about a month a go with a little message explaing them. I want to here form people even if it's just a question or the odd comment. So tell me if you like or dislike what I have posted or just have a question. Some times adding something totally differn't adds a great new flavor to the dish.

P.S. If my spelling is poor. I blame the drinks I had before I wrote this. The Wild just lost their 4th game to the Ducks and now were out of the playoffs *sob*.

I admit I don't spend enough time on my gallery, the sad truth is is that I just don't have the time to spend. But reading the above posts I started thinking of all the great people I've met through the feedback. No
I haven't developed any everyday freindships, but it always makes me happy to receive a quick "way to go" from fellow collectors. And in my few moments of free time I love to track the galleries of freinds, I feel like every cel they get is somehow a victory for us all. (Kind of cheesey I know) But I would also jump at the chance to meet for lunch if any of my rubberslug folks made it to DC. I also belong to a small but steady Cel collectors club we are always looking for guest apearences! But back to the thread I've finally filled out my about me page and am making a vow to myself to work on the graphics for the gallery (if you want to se some incredible graphics go to http://thesnakesden.rubberslug.com/gallery/home.asp and take a look at her banners Exceptional!

I love checking out people's wishlists and about sections, but, as mentioned before, these sections are often left empty. I've recently traded a lot of cels with other folks thanks to the feedback option, so I think it's great. I've also gotten a few very nice compliments from other members, and helped ID a few "unknown" cels. :)

I'm new here, but so far I usually take the time to look at the cels I'm most interested in. Though that's probably only natural. I love reading Wishlist's and About pages too though, it's fun to know what others are looking for. I keep hoping someone will help me ID my "unknown" cels too.

As someone who is new to this site, I was surprised when evaluating myself under the questions that you posed. As the thumbnail images are usually very nice, I find myself simply looking at the thumbs in a gallery. I usually only enlarge the image if I want to see what info the owner has written about the cel (how they obtained it, if it has anything special about it, whatever). I have honestly never check out any of the About Me pages, but I do enjoy looking at people's wishlists, as many times their wishlists are completely different from their gallery (say, if people's wishlist consists of cels too expensive for them to purchase).
I shall have to re-evaluate the way I view this site! Maybe I'll start looking at the other sections now.

Oh, and I definitly agree with some other people: I would really only visit this site at school, where I have a T-1 connection. At home with my crappy dial-up, I would never be able to load the images...
