macross DYRL cel dealers

sorry it's been while since i posted! busy at work and just wanna crash when i get home! phew! but anyways..i got a hold of 2 cels! one of hikaru and minmei, a second before he grabs minmei's sacred objects... and another scene where vanessa, kim, and sammy are at a cafe gossiping about hikaru and minmei. well....so far ive been finding ones that i really like! but but still looking for those holy grail scenes! esp. the first battle scene of the movie.....all i can do is search, search, and search....BTW i dont care if people tell me that it's impossible, i love them enough to always have hope! i will definitely setup a gallery as soon as they arrive! looking foward to share my awesome cells! I can now see why so many people get hooked on this hobby like crack! HAHA!

Congrats, I look forward to seeing your gallery when it opens. And who told you finding cels would be impossible? That isn't true. The issue really is that anything you might want is probably already in someone's collection. If and when the items come to sale the real factor in you acquiring them is going to be MONEY. I have already found my holy grail and I have only been collecting for about 2 and a half years. So don't loose hope.

Is there something specific you are looking for from the opening battle sequence? Nothing comes to mind right now but maybe I have seen what you are looking for somewhere and can help.

Hey thanks for the words of encouragement guys! well....once i setup my gallery, i will definitely post up some screen shots of scenes im willing to sell my liver for. BUt for now, im searching and willing to give my liver & 2 fingers for the scene when Roy focker's battroid is shooting at the enemy pod(a similar scene like in baronv's gallery) valkyie briefing scene before they fire their missles at the incoming enemy, and most importantly the scene when hikaru in gerwalk mode chasing minmei to save her.(a very good eaxmple of this is in Archon's gallery under "Z Sold to new Homes". i have a few more to list, but i'll do that once i get my gallery up and going. But ya, mokman. if you know anybody that can help me out, please let me know..i appreciate it very much! And i am open to seeing other ones, besides the first battle scene! THanks again guys! Ah yes, great scenes. Can't say that I can give you any leads though on those. I have found that mecha cels in general are more difficult to find than character cels. I am not sure why that is the case. Perhaps once they get into a collection they are less likely to come back out again. I don't know. But they can be found. If I remember correctly the cel you mentioned that was in Archon's collection sold on Ebay just this past year. As always, the search goes on.
