macross DYRL cel dealers

Both topics deal with the acquisition of Macross cels. The desired result from both questions is the [u]same[/u] and the "best" bet for newer collectors of the series is to look outside of RS, often questionably priced dealers and look towards international sellers.

Did not wish to raise asking existing RS collectors b/c it is against RS policy to sell within galleries and we have an existing RS store and sales section dedicated to sales. If nothing is currently posted in either then no one is considering selling at this moment. This is not to say someone won't consider selling in the future, so again, rusted180 do consider creating a wishlist so people know about your Macross interest. Threads get pushed down over time but your wishlist should remain until you edit or delete it. Furthermore, if you created a wishlist at least people would have a way to directly contact you if they did have any Macross cels they were considering selling.

To prevent any confusion I strongly feel it is prudent to encourage you to read the threads in the previous post containing considerable information about collecting cels from one of the more competitive series. After all, searching for all of that valuable historic information across all of RS alone would take a lot of time and as we can only assume for a new collector, you would probably want to know that information (which is precisely why many of those threads got created so we can share our experiences with others).

Actually JWR my original posts address and answers the questions raised and contain tons of relevant information. The essential [i]issue[/i] is to offer viable and accurate information to help point rusted180 in the right direction to achieve his goal.

As for posting a budget that is quite relevant b/c if potential Macross sellers knew the buyer's budget they could theoretically offer something within their budget. Would it be prudent to offer someone a 2k cel if it was already known the buyers budget was limited to 300?

Lastly quite a few Macross collectors exist on RS and more beyond this community, but it is of far greater importance to consider how few collectors [u]actually[/u] take the time to share their experiences and wealth of information. I do speak candidly but I am credible and the information shared is sensible.
