Help with my new section
Huzzah! for Klet the Magnificent! ^_^
Now, write all that down how you did that and make a sticky of it for us mud puddle folks that don't know quite how to do that neato trick... <.< XD
I visited while you were updating and saw the number grow to like 70+ before I realized what you were doing (adding them again as new, then deleting the old ones).
Yeah, I figured that if I didn't leave the old ones up, I'd forget to add some. XD
Thanks for the praises!
Leah, it's actually pretty simple. I was going to reply to your email, but then I thought that the html might activate, and what's the use in that? XD Just use this as a template:
Ack! Well, apparently, this board eats up html. 0.o Just check out evilgordo's post on the first page. Replace the first url with the url of the cel you want to link to, and replace the second url with the url of the thumbnail. Then, replace "kymaera" with whatever you want the title to be.
Keeps these things in mind:
1. Once you put html in the title space, you cannot edit the title. If you want to change the title, you will have to add the item again and delete the old item.
2. The thumbnail image's original title cannot be too long. I had to go in and replace all of the thumbnails with images which I had given short names to (hand.jpg, blush.jpg, etc). If the thumbnail image's title is too long, the URL associated with it will be too long to work.
3. Also, the title you give to the piece cannot be too long. I originally had all of my Gokudo gifts labeled with the time that I got them (e.g. "kymaera--Christmas '05"), but had to cut this out.
2 and 3 are due to a set character limit RS has in the space where you put your title.
If you want, I can walk you through one of mine own to show you exactly how it's done. ^_^
