Help with my new section
Dohh! I didn't quite understand what you were describing! Sorry I'm no help. Hope you can sort it out. Html gives me a headache so I tend to get my kid to do most of it for me.
It works, I already tested it in my gallery :D That's how I found out about the character limit for 'Titles', so I couldn't code it exactly like a standard RS thumbnail(which is in reality, 2 separate links; one image, one text)
As for the thumbnail url...that's easy. Ya know that 'right-click' that some many folks like/want to disable? Well, right-click on the thumbnail for the cel you want to reference and go to 'Properties' and there's your image url! Easy as pie...Mmmmmm pie...
Any way, that html above is the template. Just find the url of the thumbnail you want and replace the path of 'src'. You already know how to get the url for the cel page itself, so just plug that into the 'href'. Don't forget to change the text, then Cut-n-paste the whole line of code into the title and upload the spacer.gif for the thumbnail. Ta-da!
Vapalla, don't worry about it. I had a hard time explaining exactly what I wanted to do, and I probably didn't do a proper job. ^_^' I only know minimal html at best, so I don't use it too often.
Thanks, evilgordo! I fixed the first one, and should be able to get around to the others as the week goes on. You're a gem! *super glomps*
Pheeeew! That took a lot of clicking . . . and copy and pasting.
Anyway, it's all done now, though I haven't had a chance to check all the links to make sure that they work yet. XD Right now I need to rest my wrist.
Wow! I thought you were going to parse it out over time...looks good. I visited while you were updating and saw the number grow to like 70+ before I realized what you were doing (adding them again as new, then deleting the old ones).
That's a great little trick you discovered there to add a section of cels without creating redundancy within the gallery. ^_^
