There has been over the last month quite a bit of discussion and feedback over Sales , Offers and such here on Rubberslug.
This is what has been decided.
RS Policy: No sales are allowed inside your personal galleries, blogs, or anywhere except the for sale page.
Having "For Offers or For Trades" sections inside one's gallery is no different than putting an item up for sale except you don't name a specific price, but still one is looking to sell that item. As such there are not to be any mention of items being "For Offer or Trade" inside one's gallery. This removes the grey area and as such makes thing fair for everyone.
Jason has provided two ways for those who wish to list items for sale or offer. First being the Rubberslug Shop. Using the shop will offer the protection that if a transaction has a problem then a Mod can get involved and take actions as needed. The other is use of this forum thread

Now we do know that these changes will take a little getting used to so the Mod's have decided to put into effect certain guidelines for none of us enjoy being the Bad Cop.
We will close a gallery at first instance of finding a gallery with a for sale section with prices listed. This has always been against the rules. We will close any gallery that mentions Sales of Offers Ect. in their Blog. We all agree that using one's blog for advertising is not permited.
Now as to those with For Offers / Trade sections inside ones gallery. We ask all who have them to please remove them no later than the 1st of December. After that date any gallerys found to have them will first be contacted by a moderator via feedback asking them to remove that section within 48 hours if not then their gallery will be closed till it is fixed. The mod's decided that this would be fairer than just closing the gallery when found which has been the case over the last months. If the warning is not acted upon then that gallery will be closed till it is fixed.
Do know that any who have been warned will be shared with all Moderators so if a second occurance is noted they will then have their gallery closed. We all hope this is not the case.
