Family Emergency

Hi,

We just found out today that my Grandpa has bumps on the inside of his asaphogus(not sure how to spell that) and some looks to be cancer. This is a very difficult time for me and my family and I would like to ask that you would keep us in prayer that this cancer would be healed and his surgery would be successful with no complications. Please, please.... I love my Grandfather very much and would appreciate your prayers. Thank you.

I'm so sorry to hear about the news, but take heart in knowing that I will keep him in my prayers. Cancer is an evil thing, something that I hope in our lifetime we'll be able to finally get rid of. Keep close to him and make sure you tell him how much you love him. *hugs*

I'm so sorry to hear this horrible news. Your grandfather will definitely be in my thoughts and wishes. I hope for the best for you and for your grandfather. Take care and keep us posted.

I lost a close family friend recently to throat cancer so I know how you feel right now.

I really hope it turns out to be something else, but if it is that serious, I hope he can receive the treatment he needs and recover from it.

If you ever need cancer information or resources for support services/etc, you can call the American Cancer Society anytime 24/7 @ 1-800-227-2345. You can also read most of their information online at cancer.org.

Well, our worst fears came true tonight. My grandfather has cancer. The doctors said that they cannot continue with surgery and that he is not able to receive Radation because of his age, he is 85. The doctors don't yet know what stage the cancer is but there is nothing to do now but wait for him to pass, that's what the doctors say. I cannot believe that this is happening......

I want to thank everyone for there posts here and private emails. Ever single response is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Thank you,

Matt
