Favorite 16 bit game that got'ya hooked?

super famicom is my favorite hardware !! i remember.......... yuyu hakusho, chrono triger etc!

Chrono Trigger is what got me hooked!!

16 bit game huh? Let's see so that rules out Atari and NES... Argh... I only played SNES years after it came out but my favorite game would have to be a platformer Donkey Kong Country and yes good old Super Mario Bros 3. LOL I think during that time they even had the live version of the show Super Mario. LOL.

Now if we can go earlier than 16 bit, my favorite would be on the Atari 2600, the River Raid series, Yar's revenge and Pitfall. X-D Oh I forgot to mention frogger. SPLAT!!!

There was this game for the old Atari system, I think it was called "Kaboom." This little guy would slowly start to drop bombs and you had to catch them. Then it got faster and if you couldn't catch them...well...KABOOM! Simple but completely addicting.
