Favorite 16 bit game that got'ya hooked?

The oginal Dragon Quest!!!! DQ rocks ^_^

I remember playing Defender, Haunted House, Astroids, and Combat on my dad's ATARI back in the early 80's. But I didn't really get hooked until I played the first NES Super Mario Brothers game in the late 80's. I became an addict after that.

I think I'd have to go with "Streets of Rage 2" on the Genesis. I really loved that game because of the music. I think I played through that game more times than any sane person should have...

Like sugarflower, I was hooked by the original NES ?Super Mario Bros.?

I think my favorite 16-bit games are ?Ecco the Dolphin,? ?Street Fighter II: Turbo? and (even though I like the 8-bit NES ?Contra? series more because they were 2-player) ?Robocop Vs The Terminator?.
