Cel Shops in Tokyo?

Hey all,

I'm travelling to Tokyo for vacation next week and hope to visit some shops that sell douga/genga and cels. Unfortunately I speak no Japanese and so I'd like to find places that are somewhat "foreigner friendly" (i.e. speak some English or have things in plain sight so I wouldn't have to ask for stuff.) I'm mostly interested in sketches from recent CG series.

Anyone know of any shops? My guess is that Akihabara would have some but I just have no idea where to start. My brother recently returned from a trip to Tokyo and said he couldn't find any stores after spending the whole day in Akihabara shopping for anime goods.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There are lots of animation shops in Mandrake.

Try anime world star they have lots of anime artwork,cels and drawings.

Thanks. It looks like they have English speaking staff at their Nakano location. I'll definitely check that one out.

When I went to Tokyo, I found that practically every store that has anime has sketches and cels. They might not be the ones you're looking for and there might not be that many but they're everywhere. I went to all the Mandarakes. They all had English speaking staff. Just be friendly. Also, check out the animate stores especially the one in Akihabara. I practically lived in that store.
