Is there a way to border thumbnails?

Anyone know how to go the rounded colored borders that Jason uses in PS? THanks!

Sorry, being new, I'm not on first name basis with members yet. Gallery name or link?

Though, here's my suggestion:

I prefer to use the Rounded Rectangle Shape Tool (located below the Text Tool).
Set your Radius and draw your shape.
Then go to the Paths pallet.
Click the 3rd circle(dotted one) from the left down at the bottom. This turns your path into a selection.
Use this selection to crop your image with rounded corners and to add a stroke.
The trick to keep in mind is that your background color has to match the color in your RS gallery.

That's a simplified summary of the process, so your milage may vary depending on your knowledge of PS. There are many great tutorials with pics to be found with a quick Google. Or feel free to email me with ?'s.

Got it, thanks!

Now, looking at Jason's Gallery, I would say that the above procedure will yeild similar, if not the same results.

I hope my quick guide was able to get you started in the right direction. The thing with programs like PS is that different methods will result in the same end product. So use the tools you're familiar with but keep these goals in mind:

1. Create a rounded rectangle selection
2. Use selection to create stroke and/or crop thumbnail image
3. Area out side of stroke frame has match your RS gallery color
4. Have fun ^_^
