Is there a way to border thumbnails?

I don't have Elements but see if this works for you. Make your thumbnail the size you want it and make sure the background color is set to black.

Click 'image' then 'canvas size'. Then it should show the width and height in pixels. I usually just add 3 to the numbers shown. So if the height is 50, add 3 to make it 53. to the same with the width. Click 'ok' and you should now have just a simple black border around your thumbnail. Then just save the picture.

This is how I make the borders for my thumbnails but there are other ways to make nicer borders. I'm just to lazy to make something nicer, lol.

On any photoshop.. Too make borders is simple.

1.Upload images you want.

2.Hold CTRL + 'A' which is shortcut for 'select all'

3.Go on to 'EDIT' then select 'Stroke'

4.Now you will be able to decide on colour & depth of your border.

And gets even easier... if you're going to do the same "Select All & Stroke" for each thumbnail, record an Action and you can repeat the process with just one key stroke, everytime!

There's lots of tutorials out there, but here's one to get you started:
