Sale adverts in weblogs

The only problem is that blogs are advertised on the main page. There are thousands of visitors per day coming here. They look at the mainpage, and I bet a LOT of them click on the blogs. Some people may come in and be shocked at what they're reading and be completely turned off by joining the community.

That's my only concern.

This is a really valid point. Shortly after I joined, I almost considered leaving just because of some of the stuff I read in some of the blogs. I realized that these people were not indicative of the community as a whole, but for the most part, I've stayed away from the forums and chat, for this reason.

I can tell you right now that we have had no problems in chat. In fact, it is the friendliest place on Earth! Come on in and sit a spell when you have the time.

I personally am voting to leave them on the front page.

I enjoy them. It gives me inside to everyone's personalities. Both the good and the bad.

I also appreciate people posting updates and sales in the weblogs. I enjoy the little stories about why and how.
