How about ferrets, can I donate one?

Actually, now that I have my monthly paycheck in, I can see about donating something now that I know that there is a snail mail option.

I got to thinking, for those who can afford donations, it seems to make sence to donate. Well, in theory anyway, Im not sure but it is after all a donation, so shouldnt that be a tax deduction? Just a idea.

Unfortunately, RS is not a registered non-profit, so you cannot get a tax-deduction from giving us money. If you were to claim a tax deduction, both you and I would likely be a world of trouble with the IRS.

An organization has to specifically register itself with the IRS as a non-profit to reap the benefits of the tax-breaks. (Along with a whole bunch of other pesky accounting rules.)
