fatal attraction?

Doing stuff with someone you know to be your biological sister creeps me out. But the idea that you could be messing around with your sister and not even know it scares me on a real life level.

While Onegai Twins and Koi Kaze are unknown to me, I'm farmilliar with Combustable Campus Guardess, which everyone else seems to have missed out on.

In CCG, the main female lead (who has a really really big sword) has a huge crush on her brother,

but He's not really her brother.. they were raised together as brother and sister, but are of no blood relation

not that you find that out until late in the show.

Out of this list, the only series I'm familiar with is Marmalade Boy, and that one didn't really creep me out because they met at an older age and where not really related. As far as the parents being so accepting, what else could you expect from those weirdos???!!!

On an interesting sidenote, Wataru Yoshizumi (Marmalade's manga-ka) had originally planned to have Miki and Yuu end up being blood-siblings, and then they would have gone their separate ways after graduating high school. But her editor thought that it was a horrible idea, so we ended up with the current storyline.

As far as other anime with these relationships, I can only think of side-stories. The two evil purple-haired people in the first OVA of Fushigi Yuugi were brother and sister, and they definatly had a thing going for each other. Plus, there's the movie X. Now, I haven't seen the anime nor read the manga, but in the movie I felt some definate weird vibes between Fuuma and Kotori (was that her name?). It was one-sided on Fuuma's part--then again, I was never entirely sure and I haven't seen the movie in a while, so don't take my word on that one.

I made a mistake earlier. The Hanihani incident was actually the guy's cousin not his step-sibling.

Here are a few more that slipped my mind from earlier. Again...I'll try to lessen spoilers when possible:

1. Kanon - had sort of a cousin thing going on, but not in the same way as it could have gone in the game.

One girl preferred being the guy's girlfriend in an alternate reality to being the guy's blood sister. The other girl (who was his blood twin sister) had an extremely possessive brother-complex (to the point of wanting to keep his other blood sister away from him).

I can hardly remember that Fushigi Yuugi OVA since it's been so long since I seen it. But accounting for all the others I'd say if there was a new poll I'd include choices in this order:
