Mononoke cel is uploaded

For those of you who had shown interest in my previous post, and those who just like this show, my recent big-time Princess Mononoke purchase has arrived and is uploaded in my gallery.

Curious, but did you get any associated sketches with this piece?

If you did, I'm sure they're quite a treat. The illustrations produced by Ghibli usually communicate a remarkable amount of knowledge in character animation and physiology with simple linework. Congrats again.

That's a nice cel! If you don't me asking how much did you have to caugh up for it?

Very nice!
It would look sharp in a cream colored matte and a Ivory frame, It would stand out big time.
I would not worry about the cels being stuck.
If you can put up a pic from the show I'll look in my pan backgrounds and see if I have something close for you to copy.

The cel did not unfortunately come with any sketches. The sheet of paper it is stuck to appears to be blank sketch paper that was never used.

For the record I payed about $1300 for the cel.

Thanks for the offer Roy but seeing as that the sketch is stuck to the white paper I wouldn't be able to see any background I put with it.
