Sharing a cel gallery ^_^

Just wondering if it's okay to share a gallery with someone else ^_^. I know many people do it, but I wanted to make sure. I have this friend that doesn't know if she will be collecting for a long time and well, creating a whole new gallery can be very time-consuming. I offered to put her cels on mine to avoid the hassle ^_^. But I want to make sure it doesn't go against any rule. Arigatou !

I don't have any opinion about this unless the mods do. We highly, highly recommend that members do not share their usernames and passwords as this always has the possibility for problems. As far as the cel ownership thing goes, that mostly comes into play when someone else complains that someone is posting their cels. If no one complains about it, there's not much we have to do.

Thanks for asking though. We're looking forward to your friend sharing his/her collection... maybe if they like the site they can create their own gallery. New members are always welcome.

There is only one issue that concerns me with sharing of a gallery (and maybe the other mods/admin might agree) and that is \\selling\\ something. If either of you become a site sponsor, it would be better to have two accounts or galleries, unless it is absolutely clear that only one of you is a seller and the other is not. There is no passing the "hot potato" on that issue if there is any transaction related problem that occurs.

As a matter of opinion, I would prefer that you not become a sponsor, (if your intent is to sell anime production art) if you want to share a gallery with someone for your own protection.

Otherwise, it is okay! There have been married couples, mom's and daughters, dads and sons, best friends galleries here for a long time, so feel free and welcomed by all means. But, just as jn says, be careful about your passwords, they could come back to haunt you... in the worst ways, by someone that \\use to be\\ close to you.

Thanks a lot for the answers ^_^. Actually, she only wants a little space in my gallery to show her cels ^_^ until she decides whether to go on with the hobby or give her cels away. I plan on labelling clearly which cels belong to her and none of them will be in the RS shop, because as I agree with you, this could get more complicated that it would seem ^_^. I'm also keeping all my passwords and I will be the only one updating the gallery.
