I decided never to set foot in China when I read they lack morals to the point of chopping off a LIVING kitten's limbs and fry it alive to amuse rich, perverted customers who like a sick scene prior to eating.
That they eat cats and dogs, fine. We also eat animals and a pig isn't less entitled to live than a cat. But I think making death painful on purpose is sick, perverted and completely inhumane. "Culture differences" don't matter. Inflicting pain on purpose is sick and should be punished.

As for lobsters: lobsters have pincers. They use them to fight. How do you defeat an enemy? Kill him or inflict injuries (=pain) on him to make him back off.
It's easy to say someone doesn't feel pain when they don't scream. But even if they don't, they'd still feel fear.
