Glicee art?

Personally I would not buy any of these shown on the Gainax site. It seems they have an inflated price for what they are. If these were from another studio they might run 50,000 to 75,000 yen.
Would I consider purchasing a Glicee if I found from a series I collect, Yes if I found it pleasing. To me it's just another form of art. As more Anime go to computer animation the pool of real production cels will be limited to the older series. It will come a time when post production cels, hanken cels and items such as glicee and lithographs will be the only items one can collect from popular series and characters.

Side note: I always look forward to your updates, I can see why you are so happy about your latest hanken. It's great.

I wouldn't buy those from Gainax, their prices are ridiculous. I see Evangelion cels on Yahoo! Japan and Gainax's reproductions cels are more than most of those sell for! When I want Eva art on my wall I just put up a wallscroll. 12$ versus 1,200$, not a hard choice to make.
