How and Why would you sell cels?
I'm new to rubberslug and I finally got some cels in my gallery. I was wondering why you would want to sell them. Also, how do you sell them? When your adding artwork why do you put a price on your cels?
Hello, Kc_doz
welcome to rubberslug, I am also new to RS but I have collected cels of all types for many years and I find that folks are in this for the hunt.
Not all but most, If you ask someone who has been collecting for awhile most will tell you finding a cel that you have been looking for is the best part of collecting.
look at it this way it's like buying a car after a few years your ready for a new one, But there is a few cels that you would have to pry from there owners cold dead fingers before they would sell them.
I find most folks do not have many funds to work with there for they sell one or two cels to buy the cel in there cel hunt list.
As for the price it is whatever someone is willing to pay for it, I've saw $5 cels go for $150 to a person who was looking for that cel for many years and did not care what the price was, They just liked that cel.
As for adding the price you paid for your cel on the RS site? Thats up to you if you want everyone to know what you paid for it. I do not.
I hope this helps you out a little.
As for selling you can go to the Rubberslug help link at the top of the page for there selling info.
Welcome to RS.

Hello and welome!
When adding my artwork I put a price in that available box for future reference. It doesn't show up in the public part of the gallery, only when the owner is looking behind the scenes, so to speak, can the owner see that price. Otherwise, I'd never be able to keep track of what I paid for what, other than "that was expensive". ;)
Good point Leah,
If you are going to keep your cels for a long time, Do yourself a favor and make a copy of the sales info for the future it can make a big difference in the price to some collectors.
Info like price, were you got it,date, who you talked with and put it on paper in a safe place.
Cel collecting can be very fun but you can get burnt real easy so be careful and buy what you like not others, It's your gallery have fun with it.
Jason and crew here at Rubberslug are very helpful email them if you have any Questions at all, They all seem very nice to me.

Uhm...I don't mean to be rude, but you seem to be uploading just images or pics instead of cels?
