it's cookie time
I mention this because the company I'm currently employed by recently featured something similar to a Girl Scout cookie turf war. There were two folks selling cookies for their kids and discussing publicly, "Who has the cutest Girl Scout?"
It came down to supply though as rabid software engineers ended up fighting over the last few boxes. I was late to the party so I had to haggle for second-hand boxes of cookies (in exchange for an additional donation to the Scouts, at least). Two friends took pity on me for being cookieless and forked over a complete Thin Mint box and a partial Caramel DeLite (thanks for the name) box as a birthday present though.
There is nothing so beautiful in this world as grown men passionately arguing over cookies.
Hey, Rhey, did I tell you what they put in the strawberry jam? (you meanie with the coleslaw, I liked it up until five minutes ago).

YOUR birthday Jason? Happy Birthday! (if not, nevermind! ;D )
Girl Scout Cookies... one of the many things we don't get out here. Some people out here with ties still to the states, get friends/family to send them boxes in the mail. They get tackled at the post office while picking them up! :)
Favorite: thin mints! aaah the memories...
As someone who has been a Girl Scout for 16 years, I'd like to thank everyone who buys cookies for supporting our evil!organization. One day we will take over the world. Yup. One cookie at a time. ^_^
I do wish that GSUSA would regulate how much each box costs. There are 2 cookie companies and each council gets to set its own price. I've heard rumors as high as $8 per box, while others are still charging $2.50
Rheytarian: Yeah, those strawberry and cream filled ones were the best! I wish they'd bring them back...

thin mints (mmm) and samoas (so good but so few in the box) all the way, I'm finally out of cookies here and i think I can wait till next time. here it was completely oposite. They play the well you bought x boxes last year and now wouldn't you like to add more to help us out. At my freinds firm it was so and so down the hall bought x number boxes you Don't want THEM to be in FIRST right? (it seem like a compition on who could buy the most there feel sorry for the sucker who got stuck with 150 boxes, think he gave them out at a new years party to clients), While I worked with the bank, I had them strategically placed in vaults so when I audited a branch I had a snack to go along with it plus no one could just up and take em. anyone else have to hide there goods to keep them from co workers?
