hiding for another few hours

Happy New Year. I've been pretty quiet for the past week or so. If you're waiting on feature galleries, sponsorship credit, or anything of that nature, I'll get to it before tomorrow morning. Tonight and tomorrow should be long, complete days to work on the feature requests and bugfixes that have been piling up. The online store is also getting a bit bloated so I'll probably have to turn on some of the organization features (that might not come in the next two days though).

Sorry again about anyone who is waiting for me to finish stuff.

When will the rubberslug-lobster machine interface be ready so that all I have to do is put a stack of cels down by my scanner, and the lobster claw comes down, scans all the cels, uploads them to my gallery, and inputs all the cel information?

I'd like that. Any ETA?

A scanning lobster! Sweeeet.
How many zen points will it take to buy one of THOSE?! :D

....put THAT on a shirt! (lobster between a stack of cels and a scanner, a cel in each claw)

No ETA, but I've added it to the feature wishlist just for you. Just a warning, though: We're gonna need some mad pop-up advertising action to fund the development of that doozy.

I'm
working on the site. My todo list for tonight, in order:

1) Sponsorship credits (must automate this soon, folks shouldn't have to wait)
2) Feature galleries
3) Turn on site rating rankings for sponsors
4) Add search for at least users, if not also cels and other types of things.
5) Place a few random items from the shop on the home page.
6) Add alternate picture-dump display mode for shop.

Developing the weblogs and the shop into solid tools is an ongoing priority. After I get those two big modules complete, the next thing to get the admin bashing stick will be the site design engine. That's when I'll be able to get to all the suggestions that involve customizing the names of sections, formatting options, and the like.

Somewhere in there, we'll try to find a way to print up some clever shirts. People have been asking for years. Oh, yeah, and I need to send E his backgrounds he wanted me to print. Narf.
