Play Station 2 madness

So now for something completely off topic! OK so I've been playing the children's game "Katamari Damacy" on PS2 and all I want to know is: What kind of space mushrooms are they giving kids over in Japan? The commentaries on the objects collected are flipping hilarious. The dinner plate, for instance, is listed as the weapon of choice for domestic arguments.............. must go roll up some cats now!..........

Hahaha, great game. I picked it up and couldn't stop playing for days. The music is catchy as well.

But the weirdest part for me is the king of the cosmos and his "space bulge" that is constantly looming over me...

I've played a lot of wacky Japanese games (the entire Parodius series, Vibribbon/Mojibribbon/Vibripple, Segagaga, etc, etc) but I was floored by how goofy this one was.

The most amusing things I can remember rolling up were a "beetle fight" and one giant octopus.

I do believe the sequel to this is coming out in Japan fairly soon.
