anime for christmas

Last week I went to buy anime as a gift for my sister and picked up Kiki's Delivery Service, Laputa, and Princess Mononoke. I also got The Iron Giant, one of the most underrated American animation films of all time ($14.99! At a large retailer!).

I noticed a bunch of anime wasn't selling well. Also, there seemed to be a glut of gimmicky box set type things that will almost assuredly confuse the heck out of someone expecting an entire series for $40 and not one lousy DVD with 5 episodes.

What are you getting/giving/keeping?

I recieved the first two disks of Kino's journey, and give my Son a couple Yu-Gi-Oh! disks to start him on his own collection

I got (or getting since it is not released ye :P) Kenshin OVA, seisouhen director's cut DVD :D It ganna be released on Dec 28th and my sister in law got it for me via amazon.com :D I cannot wait to see it :D :D
