Where is the Grand Poohbah when you need him? I'd like to know what Rubberslug he was thinking of.

I kind of visualized a slug with a porkpie had and shades ala Blues Brothers, but that's just me.

I wanna know who's gonna wear the costume (cosplay)?

I want to bump this up so I can get an answer from Jason - what [b]did[/b] you have in mind for the "[b]slug[/b]" in Rubberslug? Firearms or Mollusks? Just so everyone knows which way the mascot should go.

It was supposed to be firearms. The reasons for this domain name being what it is are purely historical. Historical, like, I never expected more than about 20 websites. This should probably go in the FAQ somewhere. I've always wanted to change the domain name but as far as I can tell people have grown attached to the utter weirdness of it.

It's so weird that we could print up shirts that say, "Firearms or mollusks?" and get plenty of laughs from those alone.

Rubberslug will probably always be the name of the simple cel collecting hosting service but when we get to some larger projects in the same theme we might obtain name(s) that are more reasonable to outsiders.
