I have something that might help to envision how it might look going cgi. I have a pin-up here of Gally from the last scene of the DVD that Yukito Kishiro made for the last GUNNM complete edition series manga. I've uploaded this 3D image to my gallery temporarily just for this post (I will delete it later):

This is kinda rough and simple, but I think that it is still hot! If Cameron follows along and polishes up Kishiro's 3D design here I think that visually it might be very appealing. He seems to be putting a lot of emphasis into script development too, and that is always a good, good, idea.
