How long new? + question 'bout gallery

As I mentioned before, I'm preparing a huge update. The last cels will probably arrive within 2 weeks. Impatient me however, uploaded a bunch already and hid them. Now, if I unhide them by the time I got all my new cels, will they be marked "New" or "Updated"?

As for my gallery, if I got the thread about non-cel stuff right, it's okay to post a moderate number of personal crap like fanart or photos? If not, please let me know so I can remove them. I did keep the file size as tiny as possible though and I won't be adding more I think.

No,, as soon as you upload them as "new cels" the clock starts ticking, regardless if you hide them or not.


Hold off on the crap (photo) uploading part for a while. The admin/mods here are holding on-going talks about that very subject, because sites have been getting closed because of it, many people want it, and in the near future, we will probably expand everyones rights on that issue, and a whole lot more in a short while. Please be patient for a bit.

I was under the impression that something says it's new for up to one week after being uploaded. But like E said, you may want to hold off from just hiding them, and just upload them when your new cels come in, if for nothing more than your gallery will be displayed on the homepage when you do upload something new...better system of advertisement, imo.
