Inu-Yasha Last Episode approaching??

Just reading my way through my favorite episode guide when I ran across a notice that September 13 will be the day of the last 2 episodes of Inu-Yasha. I guess it is time to start searching new series to spend money on.

It has been announced that the Inuyasha television show will come to it's conclusion in Japan on September 13, 2004. The final two episodes (166 & 167) will be aired as a one hour special. There are currently 5 episodes left.

awww, this makes me sad...I love inuyasha...but I guess it has to end sometime...I can't afford all those dvd's anymore either...lol ^_^*

True and the fourth movie is supposed to release later this year.

The show still makes a lot of money, but if I recall correctly the show is mere issues away from where the manga is right now in Japan. Seems like a natural reason to put it on the back burner. However, Rumiko Takahashi has been drawing the thing for 7-8 years now and the main story arc seems to be ending so it's a safe bet that she's probably wanting to wrap it up soon.
