I also thought it would be neat to have individual banner pics for individual gallery pages...it could replace the individual text currently present...

Ah, you mean like replace just a text link for "Gundam" with a big honking picture of an rx-78? (Or a tiny SD one.. =) )

Kinda.... weird to do with the current system. It's very similar to peeling open something with duct tape on it, putting in your doodad, and trying to seal the duct tape back up. I like the idea and had this planned as one of the things I wanted, but right now the database spits out series listings in exactly one way. And it's a pain.

Lemme see what I can do. I have an idea of how I can do this, but it might be a little ugly.

No no Jason,

just, instead of a global banner for both top and bottom of pages, have the option of having individual banners. Like, right now, if I made say a Gundam page, the only unique customizable thing to do is a description at the top of the page. But with individual banners, you can make a banner much like the global banners, but have it say Gundam or something. It would make individual sections of someone's gallery more unique. Again, just an idea.

Banner graphics are more separated by pages than by series. It wasn't a very good design to begin with back in 2001. I wanted to change this a long time ago but I've always caved into pressing issues to just duct tape it and move on.

It can be done though. The good thing is that since the links module doesn't appear to be misbehaving now, I think I can safely program a new "cel gallery" module (the core "photo album" part of your gallery) that is more or less the focal point for why I'm redesigning the system to begin with. Just had to test on links first. I might have to tackle wishlists first, because the wishlists and cel gallery portions of your site currently share the same series lists. This is a Bad Thing.

I'm probably going to spend at least the next two weeks to get sales working in a really basic way first before I tackle this. No worries though, because more has been done to the site in the past 2 months than has been done in the past two years. Things are moving more quickly now that I'm able to work on both the "old" site and "new" site at once.
