How many per episode?
Yes, I am, but I can't do it alone... and that's what I'd be, right now^^;;;

I wish I could help, I'm an art major in college but i've never exactly tried my hand at cel painting before. It's gotta be easier then painting on canvas ^-^
Plan on about 10 - 20 frames per second depending on how fluid you want your animation to be. (The big studios average about 20 - 30) Then of course there are static frames thrown in there too sometimes, so that makes it a little less.
I have an entire sequence that lasts for 6 seconds on camera and it's 82 cels long.
i heard somewhere around 10 frames a sec. so around 2500 cels!!! i want to make something too. but the most i get r 100 transparencies and then im bummed
2500 cels would really only get you about 4 or 5 minutes of animation. She's looking at 25 minute episodes. At 10 frames per second, that comes to a whopping 15,000 cels!
