I knew sales would win when I made the poll, which is why I added so many qualifiers to the idea in this thread.
We can probably start doing editorials right now. Even though it's the losing vote getter, it would be trivially easy to program. A very basic sales system is next (as soon as I finish fixing the links section).
The format I have in mind would look similar to the "Gamespotting" feature at gamespot.com. (insert Picasso quote about "good/great artists" here). Here's a link:

Basically, a short essay about something interesting in anime or cel collecting with a few pictures and maybe a voting poll attached to it. Naturally, any accepted articles will come with a link to your gallery and a substantial karma award. (It really should be called karma instead of zen, afaik zen isn't something you can collect.)
Oh, don't send anything in yet. We need to decide who amongst us administrator/moderator types wants to be in charge of this section first.
