Coming Soon?

I have a question regarding the "Coming Soon" sections some of us have: Does this violate the "You must have in your possession every cel on your site." rule? I'm not asking to get people in trouble or anything, but I was wondering if it was cool before I thought about making my own section...

Well, technically if you've bought, paid for, or have a cel on hold with someone then the cels are pretty much in your possession.

But, if it is just an imaginary dream situation, that is what the "Wishlist" page is for.

There are many collectors with coming soon sections, and it doesn't hurt anyone, unless the cels/images are of someone else's artwork.

So basically, if there isn't a watermark then it's ok to post the scan? I'm just wondering because I've had several people ask me to show them what I have on the way and it's easier to direct them to my gallery than to Y!J. I just thought I'd ask the stupid question to be sure...

My objective opinion on the matter is that it is basically okay to post cels of whatever disposition (coming soon, in transit, or on hold) as long as there is no conflict with the original seller.

If you have people asking to see what you have on the way, you can send them an email (with the cel scan).

Well, regarding watermarked cels, It might help your cause if you can get a scan of the cel without the watermark from the previous, or soon to be previous, owner. Otherwise, my suggestion is to use your common sense and good taste.
