Why Can't People Vote for Me?

I don't understand the whole voting/rating thing. On my account screen it says waiting for five votes but when my friends go to vote for me, they can't because there is no "rate this gallery" link on my page.

You have to turn on the ratings option.It's under "gallery settings". Hope that helps.
