Suggestion

birdie, I had the same problem but I found a way to remove most of them. The only ones I can't get rid of are the series categories that are listed in your wishlist also.

For categories that you no longer want that have no cels left in them, here's what you can do :

1. Add a cel to the category you want to delete (just so that you can get in there and edit it because it wont show up in Manage Artwork unless it has a cel in the category).

2. Go to Manage Artwork and then to the series that you want to delete.

3. Edit the cel that you added but make sure that you open the edit in a new web browser (right click on edit and open link in new browser) so that you still have the series category open as well.

4. Move your cel back to it's correct category.

5. Go back to the series category in the other browser window and there is an option at the top to check if you want to delete the series. Check that and then hit Update Series Information.

Hope that wasn't too confusing ^^;
It's really easier than it sounds here *l*

I'm so glad ::)

I was really worried that you wouldn't understand what I said because I seem to have a hard time explaining ^^;

No worries, they were very clear and easy to follow instructions (my favorite kind ^.^).

Wow.

I'm thinking about this in terms of the bug -- and I have no idea why it works. I know what the bug is but I'm too lazy to fix it because it involves completely taking the system apart, kind of like leaving a scalpel inside a patient.

In all honestly, wishlist and cels should not share the same series catagories. That was a really dumb decision on my part that, again, would take ages to undo. It's already undone in my rewrite.

I'm going to *try* to see if I can get sales working in the next few days so that I can test the new stuff out. A "sale" gallery would pretty much use the same code as your personal galleries -- so if it works, I'd be more comfortable in porting 50,000+ items over. No promises, though.
