Advanced Designers: Suggestions?
Yeah, right now it's that silly workaround I mentioned in the other thread (upload a small image to force Rubberslug to not display the plaintext gallery name).
More modules are definitely a good thing. Are there any particular modules you'd like to see other than favorite galleries? For example, I've been contemplating putting in a weblog (blog) module so that people can use their websites for more than just lists of anime cels. Don't know if anyone out there would find that useful. I would personally find it useful just to leave little notes as to what I'm working on with the site and things I'd like suggestions on.
I've decided that if I'm going to keep the templates for now, I'm going to clean them up. I'll try to put named DIV tags around all the applicable blocks of text so that they can be renamed (and even rescripted via divname.innerHTML = "insert your html here").
I'll see how it catches on. This should be fun. =)
The templates will be switched out to templates you can have more control over. I have this neat prototype working since last year that you can click and drag things around on your screen to reposition them, but I'm not sure it works in anything except IE 6+. Never finished it. I need to get a cheap Mac with a copy of OSX and Safari for compatibility testing. (It's where the next round of donations is going.)
This post is sort of a bump post. Please leave more comments on this. (Don't worry, I haven't forgotten the ratings system!)

I was thinking, if we where able to upload SWF
(flash files) for home banners and the thumbnails.
Just a thought ^^
I considered Flash uploads when originally building the site but I have to make sure there's no ActionScript cleverness that could compromise the security of our server. I remember a while ago there was a way to craft an SWF that could operate under a different set of permissions or something. This would be a Very Bad Thing. So... just gotta do my research I guess.
Thanks everyone for the comments. Feel free to add more.
