Help with a project-Why collect cels?
Hello fellow cel collectors,
For my editing class I have to make a layout for a magazine. I decided to do a collectables magazine (since I collect quite a few things :) and the main article/page spread is going to be about cel collecting. I can yak on and on forever about my cels, but I thought it would be more interesting to have other cel collectors featured in the article.
So, if anyone has some random time to kill this weekend, I'm looking for about 250-300 words on why you collect cels, why you started a cel collection, or explaining the personal value you get from collecting. (You can answer all three or just one.) Also, if you have a scan of your favorite cel that you wouldn't mind me using as a graphic it would be most appreciated since I need pictures to go with the article (no watermarks please). You can send me the text and graphics at snakeskii@aol.com and I will accept them from now until Sunday night. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me as well.
Keep in mind that this won't be published since it's just for a class, and that images will only be used in the magazine spread and I will not use them for anything else.
Thanks in advance!

Hey, I have an editing class too. =) Mine is news editing for print. I guess yours is magazine, huh? I used to be a print journalism major but I recently switched to ISC.
Hey, that's cool. Actually, the class is a basic news design class. We've designed newspapers, tabs, brochures etc. The magazine is just our final project.
I'm a Photo-J student. I need to update my portfolio, but you can view it at www.telescaportfolio.com if you have some time to kill at some point. :)
