Cel Ganking Prevention

I like the idea but it turned out to be kinda impractical.

The GIF thing I can do but it ends up beind a file size that is bit too large. I tried to automatically erase a color with a png and replace it with 100% transparency but the file size ends up being something super big and I don't think there's any way for me to reduce it.

Going from JPG (the format most people scan in) to GIF makes the image quality really hard to control using an automatic conversion. You have to do it by hand to make sure you get a minimum amount of pixellation.

Once people start uploading cels that are really big dimension-wise, the gifs end up being like 100-200k per page.

Neat idea though.
