suggest a server name!
Flippy, yes I have seen it. And well, that movie was just great! It was refreshing, a good change of pace. Hell, I dont cry on movies and I had to muster every ounce of my being not to ball in the theater at the end because it was just so happy/sad. Thats just a great movie.
How about Big O? Does it for me. I gotta watch more robot themed anime...
*Everyone* should watch more giant robot anime. To me, it seems giant robot anime is to the rest of anime as westerns are to American cinema. Kinda campy most of the time, but you can see the genre mature if you look at it in the context of all other works in the same genre.
I downloaded a compilation of 30 years of giant robot opening animations from newsgroups a few months ago. 2 hours of opening animations! That was a beautiful thing, seeing animation styles and musical tastes change from decade to decade.
I think it should be a girls name.
Girls have cooties though. The closest I've ever gotten to a girlie name for a computer is this one. I was rebuilding my computer after a HD crash last winter and a friend was around so I named it after her favorite flower -- stargazer.
At one place I used to work, we used to name computers after Simpsons characters. But after a while, we started running out and all the new hires would be getting some downright obscure names. Didn't work out too well after 40 or 50 of those.
Hrm.... the server name thing looks like it's going to be tougher than I thought.
Hmmph, I've been cootie-free for years now.
I was also thinkin about digging through some books and finding a ship with a really obscure name like the "Turret Chief" that one does not fit real well but it is obscure.

As said I have found a few names we could use.
1. ARCTURUS
2. ELFIN MERE
3. GOSHAWK
4. KEYSTORM
5. NIPIGON
6. RALPH
7. SITKA
8. ZILLAH
9. KAMLOOPS
10.KALIYUGA
11.SEVONA
12.MONKSHAVEN
I found all of these names in books. I did not make them up my self. They were ships that at one point in time sailed on the Great Lakes. I would stay away from the name BANNOCKBURN that ship still to this day shows up on Lake Superior as a FLYING DUTCHMAN.
