Thumbnail Borders

I'd like to add a border around my thumbnails, but I have no clue how to do so. Can someone tell me how to do so? Thanks so much!

I think I can help, here is what I do for mine. After I scan my cel I work on it in my photo program (many kinds of programs so you may have to do something a little different with yours), Before I add my stamp I have an option to outline something. I click on ALL and then outline the image it asks how many pixels (I go with 2or3) and chose a color. Then I save that as a JPG. Then I upload it to Rs as large image, click make thumbnail and delete the large image. Then I upload my watermarked image into the large cel space. The other way to make a border is to use a line option. Set the pixel width and do each side of the image. Hope those hints make sense. If others have a different way I love to hear how you make them too.

Tiny suggestion:

You may want to make the images 100 pixels wide yourself and then use a sharpen filter/effect on them. I've found that when I shrink images in a paint program or on rubberslug they get a bit blurred.

Example:

The
cel was recently re-scanned, shrunk and sharpened; the sketch scan was made years ago, shrunk and never sharpened.

Just something to experiment with. :)
