AintItCool.com claims that Pixar may be buying up Disney's now out-of-work artists and starting a traditional animation studio.

No idea how accurate this is since I didn't attempt to cross-reference or research it.

It's refreshing that there are a few smart people left out there that realize that it's not a 3d vs. 2d thing, it's film construction that matters. Cinematography, story, editing, etc.
