Who won this DBZ auction?

Shipping from Mandarake usually costs us between $18 and $30 per box, depending on what is in said box.

Rinkya does charge a (last we checked) 25% fee on their shipments in addition to the actual shipping cost to cover packing expenses (they use a lot of bubble wrap when needed).

You shouldn't be paying that much in shipping for one item with either unless it's a really, really, large/heavy item. :)

That sounds reasonable, if you look at this for example

http://yahoo.aleado.com/lot?auctionID=200111771

top right corner it says shipping to EU $223!...madness or is that not what the shipping cost is? i find the site hard to understand

do you have links to other cel auction sites? I'm new to collecting :)

That looks like what the seller is charging if you buy directly on Yahoo Japan instead of buying through a deputy.

Either that, or this particular deputy is charging a small fortune for their service. Definitely not one that we would use.

It IS madness, but you'll find sellers like that everywhere, not just on Yahoo Japan.

When you use a deputy, they typically charge a certain amount for shipping within Japan, and then another amount for shipping to your location when you're ready to ship your items.

Shipping multiple items at once is usually more economical than shipping after every auction win.

can you recommend any 3rd party/deputy places to buy from? So far haven't been able to consider bidding on items on most sites due to worried about the shipping costs

Thanks for your help :)

We deal with Shopping Mall Japan and Rinkya ourselves. We tried Cathands once, but didnt like the service due to lack of real-time bidding.

Celga is another popular deputy amongst cel collectors.
