Photos or Scans for Gallery?
Hello,
I just started collecting cels. I was wondering how you guys take the images for the gallery here?
Hi, Congrats on starting to collect cels! Many galleries, here on RS, use both camera pictures as well as scanned images. I use my scanner for the stuff that will fit and a digital camera for the stuff that's to big. Hope this helps. Can't wait to see what you have.
Best,

Thanks so much! Then I will probably be scanning with white paper behind the background-less ones.
I mainly have Yu Yu Hakusho ones so far. That's my favorite series! : )
I used to always scan my cels, but I no longer have a scanner so lately I've been using photographs. In a way, I find I actually prefer this now because my scanner could never pick up the entire cel, usually chopping off the sequence number, and most of the background if it had a background. With a photo I can include everything.
