Getting rid of paper stuck to cel?

This is about CCS cel I posted before. Previous owner pulled apart the douga and the cel so there are a lot of papers stuck behind cel.

I want get rid of some papers because part of the paper can be seen on front side (this paper is stuck to arm and skirt diagonally, so the middle shows through) How can I remove this without damaging the cel? I had read about stuck cels but I am not sure if they apply to this also and want to be sure about it.

You can wet the paper behind the cel to help remove it.
We often will wet a paper towel first and dab at the area where the paper is stuck before gently lifting the paper.
You only have to make the paper damp and it should lift away from the paint.
