Type of Animatopm?

I'll start... When I started my Gallery, I was under the impression that the galleries were suppoed to be Anime only. I can't, for the life of me, figure out WHY I had thought that... But, work was slow last night, and I started gooooglin' for a few shows that I liked in the past, and a few Rubberslugs came up.

So, I took a pic of my Animaniacs cel, and threw it up on my gallery... Part of me wants to grab a few more from that show (along with others..), but.. yanno.. that whole money thing.

So, who has non-Anime cels up in their galleries?

Me.

Originally, it was designed for anime cels, but there's no good reason why we should deny collectors of American or other types of animation. The only real restriction is that it has to be either original artwork (cels, sketches, etc.). We've relaxed that a little and allowed prints, lithographs, etc. but nothing that resembles a mass-market, large print run item.

The crystal ball says that Transformers collectors have really been popular here lately. Very important part of my childhood, no way I'm turning those folks away.

Animaniacs is, by the way, the most intelligent cartoon ever made in the US in the last 50 years. Those writers had no business writing for children's afternoon television. Must get at least one production cel one of these days.

Weren't they going to come out with a movie sometime? Or maybe I'm thinking they were going to make a new TV show.. Yeah, tho. They're coming back -- talk to half of my coworkers. :)

I loved the show. So incredibly insane, with jokes like, "We need a little Anastasia." (Enter small girl with large mallet. Exit girl.) "Kids, ask your parents." Just great! I once actually had a list of all the Credit Lines from the credits of each show.. Sad. :)
